Crystal Lugo is an entrepreneur, innovator, and founder of Glovescaler™, a patented product that gained national attention for its innovative approach to scaling fish. Her entrepreneurial journey led her to pitch in front of the Sharks on ABC’s Shark Tank — an opportunity achieved by only a small percentage of applicants nationwide.
Crystal has also earned recognition through major pitch competitions, winning more than $150,000 in entrepreneurial funding opportunities, including recognition through Black Ambition, founded by Grammy Award-winning artist, producer, and entrepreneur Pharrell Williams — internationally known for writing and performing the global hit song “Happy,” featured in popular films including Despicable Me 2.
Today, Crystal is passionate about helping aspiring entrepreneurs and creators move their ideas from concept to reality. As co-creator of the THRIVE Business Launch Accelerator™, she brings real-world experience, innovation insight, and practical startup guidance to help others confidently pursue their big ideas and build something meaningful.
After facing unemployment and uncertainty, Rudy made a decision that changed his life — he started a landscaping business from scratch with zero customers, no blueprint, and nothing but determination and faith.
What began as survival eventually grew into a legitimate business that reached 5-figure months after years of hard lessons, setbacks, persistence, and learning everything the hard way.
Along the journey, Rudy also returned to school at age 40 to earn his MBA after years of putting it off — balancing full-time work, entrepreneurship, family life, and the pressure of chasing goals while carrying real-world responsibilities. That experience gave him a deep understanding of procrastination, overwhelm, self-doubt, and what it truly takes to pursue a vision when life is already full.
After exiting the business following a successful 20-year entrepreneurial journey, Rudy realized too many people are sitting on incredible ideas but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin.
Today, as founder of THRIVE2DAY Leadership Lab and co-creator of the THRIVE Business Launch Accelerator™, he helps busy professionals, creators, and aspiring entrepreneurs discover, clarify, and launch their big, bold, beautiful ideas using practical, real-world strategies designed for people building dreams in the middle of real life.
